Random Telegraph Noise in CMOS Detectors

CMOS imaging detectors are becoming increasingly important for astronomy thanks to their low noise, fast readout speeds, and improved affordability. Some sensors exhibit “Random Telegraph Noise”, and for the SPIE 2026 meeting in Copenhagen I submitted a paper describing how we handle it in operations at Las Cumbres Observatory:
